Turnaround and development of retail chain, three-year project

We helped:

  • Within one-year gross margin increase by 3,5 p.p., annual effect about 7 mil. USD

  • EBITDA margin increase twice within one year

  • Reduce inventory turnover by 15 % and increase trade liabilities turnover by 5 days, annual cash flow effect about 2,5 mil. USD. Solve slow-moving inventory issue

  • Increase market share by 10,5 %

  • Implement loyalty program in six months, and achieve sales value penetration of 60% and customer penetration of 50% in one year

  • Implement two and one re-brand private labels, about 82 SKU’s and achieve 2% of total sales

  • Start own import, achieve 9% of sales in one year

Valdas has over 15 years of work experience in retail and FMCG industries, working as CEO, CFO, COO, Project Manager in various countries and companies, such as Rimi, Carlsberg, ProStore, Brusnichka. He is expert in turnarounds, performance improvement, category management. Valdas hold MBA from Vilnius University, board member education from BICG, he is member of ACCA. Valdas is fluent in Lithuanian, English and Russian.

Mindaugas has over 20 year of work experience in retail business areas such as construction, maintenance, project management, procurement acting as country, region, technical director in various countries and companies such as Rimi, Fresco, Brusnichka, Anvar. He managed construction and remodeling of more than 100 stores, of various formats and sizes. Mindaugas hold master’s degree in engineering from VGTU and MBA from BMI. Mindaugas is fluent in Lithuanian, English and Russian.

MINDAUGAS KRASAITIS

Alexey has over 15 years of work experience in supply chain management in retail and FMCG companies such as Eva, Varus, Nestle, Küehne + Nagel, Chervony Market in Ukraine acting as a logistic and supply chain director. Alexey managed 15 comprehensive projects, mainly focused in supply chain process improvement, increase of logistics efficiency, optimization of inventories. Alexey holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and automation. He graduated K+N Academy in contract logistics project management. Alexey is fluent in Ukrainian, English and Russian.

Gintaras hold master’s degree in Economics from VGTU. He is fluent in Lithuanian and Russian.

Vaidas is expert in brand development and positioning, loyalty marketing, rout to market. Vaidas hold master’s degree in international business management from Vilnius University. He is fluent in Lithuanian, English and Russian.

Alexey has over 15 years of experience in statistics, Big Data & advanced analytics, data mining, machine learning, predictive and probabilistic modeling. Alexey realized over 10 comprehensive projects in retail and FMCG industries. Alexey holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Dnipro State University. He is fluent in Ukrainian, English and Russian.
